The Baby Word Tracker is a mobile app that will assist in research at The University of Alabama's Literacy Education & Cognitive Science Lab (LECS) to gain more detailed data on child speech development . The app allows parents to track their child's speech development by inputting text, audio, and video data of their child's speech. Simple data analysis and visualization is available to parents while all data input into the app is available to LECS. Eventually, we hope that the app will be able to parse children's speech so that parents do not have to annotate audio and video input.
